Steytelinck
Branding for a newly renovated restaurant in Wilrijk, Antwerp.

problem
The owner of this restaurant just bought the place and wanted to give it the cuisine, beauty, and loyalty it deserves. He completely renovated the building and transformed it into a cozy, classy, welcoming place for families to gather or to enjoy a coffee on the terrace. He successfully renovated the space, keeping the building’s classic, elegant look while making the interior a warm and inviting place to eat and relax. He also wanted to extend this cozy, classy feeling into his communication.
solution
I designed a completely new, up-to-date branding for the restaurant, preserving the building’s classic heritage while giving it the modern, sleek appearance it deserves. I created a classy menu design, a logo and icon, and a contemporary website where clients can explore the space and the menu, so they can instantly feel the vibe before making a reservation.
How I got the cozy family gatherings into the classic restaurant of Steytelinck.

By creating a clean, classy brand with a modern touch, I made the restaurant more relevant to today’s standards while preserving the building’s historic heritage and translating the atmosphere of the place into its visual identity.
Next, I designed a fully responsive website that’s easy for all age groups to use and that captures the feeling of the restaurant at a glance. The site shares a brief background story of the location, presents an easy-to-read menu, and offers straightforward options to reserve a table. By keeping the website clean, intuitive, and minimal, I made the reservation process as frictionless as possible, helping to turn visitors into guests.
